Zephyr Productions is a video production company based in Melbourne, though our work takes us all over Australia and a few time a year overseas.
We are looking for an insanely talented and creative video editor to work with us on an ongoing and remote basis. Ideally, you live in Melbourne, but feel free to apply from anywhere in Australia.
We primarily specialise in wedding films and occasionally we branch out into music videos, travel films, and commercial branding films. Over the next two years, our aim is to move more towards commercial/branding films.
Personally, I am incredibly interested in the philosophy of love as well as exploring consciousness and spirituality, I mention this because these ideas are something that I am interested in working into our wedding films more over the next season. To get an idea of what I am talking about you can see it in play during the opening sequence of the film “Meg + Peter – Bali Elopement” on our website. We are focused on continually pushing our creative limits and producing the very best films possible for our clients.


Work on your time, from wherever you want, we don’t even care if you wear pants!
We are looking for a video editor that is hungry and self-motivated to continue to learn and push their creativity. I know what I like, but I am not looking to direct as much as work with an editor to create something that is beyond our individual talents.
We don’t care if you’ve formally studied or not, we are more interested in seeing what you can create, no experience with wedding films necessary, and experience in other areas (commercial/music video/social media content) is actually preferred.
While the workload at the beginning will be on a freelance/ per job basis (currently approx 15-25 weddings per year), the reason for hiring an editor is so that we can expand the business and grow that role into a full-time position.
